About Me

My name is Darcy and I’ve been writing since I learned how to put words on a page. My first completed short story won accolades when I was only 13 years old and since then, I have been refining and honing my writing skills. Today, I am a novelist, memoirist, word artist, content writer, brand identity strategist, and creative writing instructor.

Educational Background:

  • I graduated from Bath Spa University with a Master of Arts in Creative Writing upon completing a 65,000-word manuscript of my novel "Land of Milk and Honey" which was subsequently published in the post-graduate anthology Bath Ink and gained interest by some of London's leading literary agencies.

  • I graduated from Regent's University London with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts English and earned first-class honours for my academic achievements. My senior thesis gained special interest among faculty as it explored female narratives in high-demand religions.

  • I was offered an internship at Bondir as a member of the writing team, undertaking content design assignments and working closely with the graphic design department to deliver branding solutions to small businesses.

My writing portfolio and professional background are diverse but they all have a running thread, they all have required innovation and creativity. Whether I am working out the intricacies of a plot, motivating a classroom of university students to find inspiration in a subject they find challenging, helping a client establish their brand voice and grow their business through content strategy, or offering leadership solutions, each role I undertake requires thoughtful consideration, creative brainstorming, and measurable results.
